hello again gang, im a boost mobile customer and I noticed on boost live there is NO real music ringtones (singing from a wav file) but only polyphonic, voice and real sound. Yet when I go into my boost mobile menu on my i730 I can easily access the music tones so I'm wondering why isn't it on boost mobiles website? I d/l one music tone from the boost live menu on my phone and it sounds just like an actual song and is pretty cool.
Also I noticed not even nextel has the real music tones on their website! I know some people use the serial/usb cable but for now I'm not gonna mess up my phone doing that. The music tones are super expensive at 2.99 while the polyphonic is 1.99

I think the only way to get a ringtone w/o the cable is to use the voice recorder and record part of the song you want. But you have to make sure you don't get any background noise. Not the best way but it's do-able. For me the best way is with the cable. You just need to download the webjal and other software if you want to create your own ringtones.
