i just want cheap chirp

i already have a verizon plan , which i like because i get pretty good reception usually , but i want to have a nextel just for chirp ,most people in my area have nextels, gettin a phone wont be a problem because i live in nyc, and i know i can get a good phone for cheap, even though i know iz gunna be hot. so that wont be a problem but if anybody has suggestions on a cheap plan or a card that i can get that i can use that is mostly if not all for walkie talkie, that would be great.

You can get boost mobile there is now a prepaid plan which includes free chirp for 30$ which also has the mins too...

sorry, but im used to having monthly plans.. how does a prepaid plan work?? do u buy a 30 dollar card for a certain amount of minuites, or do you buy a 30dollar card and you get it for a certain amount of time,1 month 2 months etc.

You can do straight through a credit card.. you have 1 month during that month u can add as much $$ as you want. There is also a 50$ plan and 70$ which include more things u know.. u can check out them at boostmobile.com if ur interested..

I think it's a good deal. that is what I started with, and I talked for hours and hours on chirp and it didn't cost an arm and a leg. If you text a lot, you can pay the $10/mo and it is well worth it. where else can you get unlim. talking and unlim. text for $40/mo?

boost plans are way over priced if you can get a contract....Nextel has a 29$ plan with chirp and minutes and unlimited night....So....

but you only get like three and a half minutes.
