Call waiting should have been offered a long time ago...

Re: Boost Mobile now offers call waiting with their $50 plan!!
I have never had any form of formal training or whatever when it comes to iDEN. I have never used an iDEN device and probably never will. That's why I don't hang around for the Boost/Nextel discussions. The only thing I have ever been told is they are limited on roaming coverage. I do know some about it...but only what i've taught myself.

Hm, interesting.....
Yet you been hanging around the Sprint/Nextel/Boost forums posting how terrible their service is and to cheer for Verizon...
You're not a Verizon cheerleader are you Nick?
Agreed, call waiting should just be automatically included no matter what plan, whether you're using the CDMA or iDEN side of Boost.Last edited by Tony E!; 02-17-2009 at 01:35 PM. Reason: Auto-merged Double post

Re: Boost Mobile now offers call waiting with their $50 plan!!
The national service speaks for itself.
I am not a Verizon Wireless cheerleader (hmm...maybe if they paid for them). And recently I have become pretty upset with how Verizon Wireless is making negative changes. I may be changing carriers with a few of my friends on Friday, February 20...
I can speak on Sprint's behalf, especially since I worked for them for a brief time in the past. But, in reality, they may be who we choose if we do switch.

Re: Boost Mobile now offers call waiting with their $50 plan!!
I noticed that I magically had call waiting. It happened right after I called customer service for a different issue. I asked the rep if call waiting was going to be offered at some point in the future. He told me that a lot of customers had been asking about it and that he did not think it would be happening anytime soon. 2 hours later, I got a call while I was already in a call. WOOHOO! (and here I thought I was special!)

Re: Boost Mobile now offers call waiting with their $50 plan!!
Has this change occurred on the nationwide plan, or the local plan? My understanding (from a sprint store salesman) is that they were holding off on offering call waiting to prevent people from ending their sprint contract plans en masse to migrate to boost nationwide unlimited.
Does boostmobilecommunity.com have an rss feed?
BTW, the cellphoneforums boost mobile subforum rss feed doesn't work:

I'll quote their moderator:"Boost doesn't work for you? too bad, go to another provider". Don't waste your money with these guys. This is the kind of response you can expect when you complain about their inadequate service.
You've been warned. After me, the deluge.
