anyone else using this plan? i love it but i worry that they will change the plan cost later aka bait and switch. we are military and wanted phones with no contracts because of constant deployments. there are tons of towers here for their service.

far as it taking so long to get messages look at settings in message center and change downloads to Automatic --that way you will get them faster

Re: new $50 unlimited plan
Did you know that even if you have a contract, the wireless carriers will allow you out of your contract without penalty if you have proof of a nearby deployment. Also, with the new Verizon Wireless Month to Month plan, you aren't on a contract...but receive nearly the same benefits. It isn't prepay. You must request the Month to Month plan or they'll contract you.
I've never enjoyed carriers like Boost, Tracfone, etc. They all "claim" to be excellent but they can't compete with anyone.

Sprint/nextel is the KING OF PROVIDERS here on Oahu, Honolulu, Hawaii.
They have all the GOVERNMENT contracts, so they got TONS of cell sites. I have had several carriers here, and they are by FAR the absolute best.
Great forum here, I am enjoying it!Last edited by boostfan69; 02-24-2009 at 11:00 PM. Reason: spelling

Re: new $50 unlimited plan
Well, Sprint was the last provider to setup shop in Hawaii at all...which is kind of odd.
You might wanna check coverage. Oahu Hawaii is nothing but roaming with Sprint PCS...it therefore should be the same with Boost Mobile. I'd check for yourself. Sprint Coverage Check
