hello ! im about to switch to boost, i have tmobile right now, paying $80, 600 mins, 400 txts or so, taxes etc.. theres a new offer now for 22 months old customers, $49, unlimited nation wide, but it doesnt include texts, gps or internet so tmobile is a no no !! compared to boost.

I want to buy the i9, theres a guy who says he might get it for $180, but i have to wait until next week, and i need to activate my boost line right now!

    so question 1:

the local guy at the cricket/boost store is charging me $30 for activation, I can borrow a ****ty boost phone from my cousin for a few days(he doesnt use it anymore), I can activate my boost account with that phone and a week later i can transfer my line to the new i9 phone. Will I have to pay for "re-active" my boost line on the i9???

question 2: I want to keep my phone number, boost mobile website says I can, what if i change my mind in 3 months and i want a new phone number from boost? do i have to cancel account and make a new one? or can i just tell them to change my number? will they charge me for this??

question 3: the local store is selling the i9 for $350, wtf is going on here?

thanks guy!! and and question 4: is the i9 "waaay better" than the i776 ??

as for the the quality between the i9 and the i775 i'm not sure... but for the phone issue, you can get a ****ty phone then call them up whenyou get the new one and upgrade your phone, when you want to change your number you can easily tell them to change it, i'm not sure of the cost, maybe 35 at the most but nothing for upgrading...

    Hey there,
I'm considering the switch from t-mobile to boost as well...
Boost has free service in MX where I may be moving to...
Anyway, I read your questions that you posted and was wondering if you had any of those questions answered..?
And have you been enjoying Boost, and the type of phone you've been using..?
    Thanks
