sanyo juno texting issue

I recently bought a sanyo juno about 2 days ago and had my boost mobile number transfered to it. now, my issue is rather odd. it seems I can send text messages, but, I can only receive text messages from certain people. So far, the only people I can receive text messages from have either a sprint or nextel carrier. Any help or suggestions on this issue would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

I am having this same issue, nobody can recieve or send me txts....Even Boost mobile customers!! I brought this phone yesterday!

mine is actually working now. I called tech support and they just told me to wait 48-72 hours and if it doesn't work after that then to call them. I figured it wasn't going to work and I was ganna have to call back, but, it turns out I really just had to wait.
