Hello all, my first post here. I have been searching an reading and found a few answers but not quite everything, and some answers were not clear, so it's time to post.
First of all, I like the phone except that the front is useless outside. I already downloaded the opera mini browser and thats a nice improvement, but how come when you sign into a page, it does not stay signed in? Don't these browsers (both Opera and the original) use cookies? Is there a youtube app or do i just access it thru the browser? It seems full screen does not work in Opera, but the quality is horrible anyway, I expected a bit better.
The GPS app does nothing, it tells me it's incompatible with my phone's software. How do I use GPS?
"Get Stuff" doesnt work either. It opens a browser that says "no results found" when I click on any category.
Plenty more questions, but that's enough for now.

You can save your cookies for facebook by going all the way down on the sign in screen and choosing "touch site" and then again go all the way down on that sign in page and choose "Full" or "Desktop" site. Im sorry i cant remember what it says, but its one of those. Then you sign in your info here and check the box that says "keep me signed in". Now it will probably kick you out after because theres not enough power to run the desktop version, but it will keep you signed in the mobile now!

Re: New Boost Sanyo Incognito owner with questions
Thanks for the update, although I don't use facebook. It seems to save my password, because when I click sign in, it does so without asking me for my username and password.
Are there any sites for useful java apps? Most of what I found is games or useless junk, there really is a lot of potential there. Would love to have an internet radio or shoutcast app. I'd pay for that.

Re: New Boost Sanyo Incognito owner with questions
Been using Opera browser with Incognito for over half a year now. It uses cookies to save Sign In info. Worked well with Facebook, GameSpot, Youtube, and most sites. Some of these don't have a "Keep Me Signed" option. Opera should open a "Save password" box just in case every time you log in. As to Youtube, great quality is too much to ask on this phone. As to get Get Stuff goes, only thing worthwhile for me were games like Tetris and Midnight Bowling. Each about $6 or $7. Oh and I agree about the front being useless.

Re: New Boost Sanyo Incognito owner with questions
Thanks for the replies. I am way past this now. I am now trying to figure out why almost NONE of the 3rd party applications work on this phone. Really making me mad. At least Opera browser and google maps work, but there are a ton of games and apps written in java for phones that are free, or heck I'd pay a few bucks if they just work!!! I just bought a 16gb card and am ready to fill it up! I think I need to start a new thread for this. Not like it's littering the forum with the smattering of posts on here.

Well I'll be darned. Some apps do work. I stand corrected.

Re: New Boost Sanyo Incognito owner with questions
It is great that these two excellent and free apps work, but you are right in that there is an issue present that is causing major problems for the large majority of apps and that is what I am trying to learn more about. I'll sure post here if I do find out more, but I created a new thread since that really is a different topic and it's not like this forum is littered with recent threads anyway.

Re: New Boost Sanyo Incognito owner with questions
Before you leave this topic, I forgot to ask. Have you tried the phone's e-mail and IM features? They are very useful, especially the IM since it's now unlimited free.
