About two weeks ago, Boost sent me a text message saying I must reset my password. I followed their prompts to the letter. I have had my Samsung phone for over a year with no problems, and my voicemail has always come on after 5 rings. Now it comes on after 8 rings which is way too many. Boost says there is nothing they can do from their end to change it back to what it was. That is obviously wrong because there is no instruction I can follow to set the number of rings before the voicemail comes on.

That's very strange that they say they can't do anything. It looks like others have had this problem in the past
When you check voicemail is there a prompt for 'options' ?

Re: Trouble with number of rings before voicemail comes on
Yes, but none of the options gives me a choice of number of rings before voicemail comes on. It says "Settings, greetings, or expert mode". When I go to settings, it covers things like using or not using your password, auto play on or off, expert mode. I can't even find out what expert mode is. I'm sure not expert as this incident proves. Other than settings, I can go to greetings but that just gives me the choice of a custom greeting I record or using the generic greeting. Never any mention of choosing the number of rings before voicemail.
