They're not that expensive now, no? I'd love to get one except I can't find one where I'm living... well, haven't been to the Mitsubishi dealership for a while either, but I haven't seen even one in the streets.

I see them everywhere I go. There's nothing wrong with that though. I'd love to own one, but don't have the money for it.

    evo

I like the Evo's but Mitsubishi does not look like they will be around for long. I mean it would suck to buy a brand new car and have the car company go under. Oh well, I just jope they last long enough to release the MR version of the Evo.

Why do you think they are going under?

    Evo 7
    271bhp
    ripped off in America
In the UK its Evo 8, or 9, or 20 or something like that
This months new Evos full name over is Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII FQ 340MR Ralliart
Guess what the FQ stands for... The UK suppliers for the Mitsubishi have already had phonecalls from Japan asking what FQ means, and some divisions of Mitsubishi have already either said it means nothing, and other divisions say it stands for faster and quality
Stand by for next weeks installment of the story of the Lancer as the FQ MR Ralliart Madman-let-loose-on-public-roads-with-madly-overpowered-rally-car-for-roads-with-over-900-horsepower is released
    I was born confused

Yeah, the EVO looks aggresive, but there are other great turbo cars our there you might look at first such as Dodge Neon Srt-4, or the Subaru WRX Sti.

Wow thats a first, american car being mentioned in the category of a Lancer Evo.....But it does good
The Dodge SRT-4 [Street and Racing Technology] is the second fastest current-production Chrysler vehicle, and one of the fastest Dodges ever made. Even with that mind-blowing acceleration - seen in recent Dodge history only by the Viper, Spirit R/T [Road and Track], and Daytona R/T - the Dodge Neon SRT-4 started in 2003 at under $20,000, making it cheaper than a base model Stratus (the 2004 and 2005 are under $21,000). While only 3,000 per year were originally projected for construction, production in 2004 reportedly reached 13,000 per year; exact figures were not released. Chrysler makes a profit on the SRT-4, despite the mind-blowing performance, presumably because it is so closely related to the Neon

Car and Driver: 0-60 in 5.6 seconds, top speed 153 mph

Sport Compact Car: 5.8 seconds, quarter mile 14.2 seconds

For more info go to http://www.allpar.com/neon/neon-srt-4.html Its a nice site.....easy for me to read, which means easy for everyone
