I just got in 1 last week but no worries cuz I only got small scratches on my car. I bumped in2 this car in front of me cuz I was half asleep. Good thing my friend got a scratch remover on the back of his truck & we manage 2 make the scratches look less noticeable. My dad saw the scratches & he didn't make a big deal out of em. I'm not really a bad driver. I was jus really tired that day.
Anyone ever got in2 a car accident?

Juss playing wit ya, at least both you and the cars okay...
Well the latest car accident was in Feb. 2004....I was out wit my cuzin's Honda Civic (cheap a$$ haha) which was in the process of being modified....we were going 85 in the highway and some random ole lady cuts and we had the swerve and scrap the side rails pretty hard.....good thing he had some practice with drifting or else....
No injury, no emotional hurt....just felt bad for the car. . . : : " D a " - C a r - C o p ~ R. E. S. P. E. C.T. : : . . .

oh swt I'm glad to hear your ok
I've never (touchwood) been in a car accident that was my fault - had a few 'funny' ones
I had just dropped an ex b'friend off at his home and his dad reversed his car out of the driveway into the side of my car as I was driving off (his back window was fogged up and he couldn't see) I was really mad because it put a huge dent in my lil baby VW - what if I was a person walking past and if he had of been a few minutes earlier he would have hurt his son pretty bad (he hit the passenger side)
I also had a guy who couldn't see around a bus that was pulled over at a bus stop, he just decides to pull out and hit the side of me as I was driving down the road near my school - had lots of friends who witnessed that one so there were no probs getting the money out of him....

My cousin had a car that was registered (not insured) in my name. He took it out one morning (aka. stole it) DRUNK and ended up crashing into 5 PARKED cars!! The registration was in my name- so they arrested ME (for having a registered vehicle without insurance). Still going through the system (2 years later) fighting for my freedom. (he can crash my car... but he can't crash my freedom!! ~ or something like that )

wow that is a horror story
good luck with everything - did you report it to the police when your car was, ermmm, stolen?!!
We don't have such strict rules about insurance here - my friend got hit by an un-insured driver in his jag and he had no luck getting any money out of the driver - he was told it would cost more to take the driver to court, than the money he would get if he won

Your lucky cozi!
Insurance here is a bit crazy! Its wayyy 2 dear 2 start with! da dearest for me is €4,500! and da cheapest! €2,500!

and I complain about my insurance which is around $800 a year

I would've reported it to the police, except I didn't know he was driving it. He had it to repair (it was driving on a REALLY BAD alignment) and he had it for so long (that's why I took the insurance off) I was in the process of getting the plates from him, but he's like a rebel without a cause. Always raising hell somewhere, somehow.
The worst part about the whole story is that it was his car to begin with!! My other car died and he lent his car to me until I got another one.

That is a horrible story..did u have to pay for the damage? I think it isn't very nice of your cousin to do that to you...giving you bad name and all...

Oh thanks princess paxy!! I haven't had to pay for any damages, going through the court system (with a wonderful lawyer) to hopefully wipe my name from the incident. He F'd up my credit and everything (I got arrested... almost had my license suspended) My next court date is Nov. 30th (with no continuance hopefully) I'm crossing my fingers!!
