Recently here in Australia there were some kids who got killed in what the cops think was a street drag. So i just want to know, would anyone here ever participate in an illegal street race (drags too)??

Hmmmm, its a tough one, i prob would for da adrenaline and da rush, but only once r twice!

Hmmm...not a tough one for me...definitely won't do it (unless dragging in daytona)
What is it with boys, cars and adrenaline? My cousin does it.. then he kinda end up doing the pro car racing... he doesn't do it anymore though...he mods his car with nitro, huge stereo and who knows what else. It amazes me how much you can spend on your car. All these nifty gadgets and accessories.
If I really have to ...I won't be dragging on the street, will be dragging on grandprix, at least I will get my fame and fortune if I die on a crash.
Now Mark...can we go bungee jumping instead ?Member of the "Cheeky but Nice" Alcozma name glow crew

I've done it in the past... I've only been street "racing" legally lately... Besides, I'm lacking a sporty performance car at the moment... maybe if I got a new Porche or Lotus that might change... then I'll need to ring up all my buddies on the police force to turn their heads then. or hope I get pulled over by a female cop.

Sure, if i have the car, the cash (cuz u have to mod the car 1st rite) and the time to do so,... Why not. But i guess only a few times just for the excitement. too dangerous a sport to get addicted to.

I have done it in the past and would most likely do it again but I don't think that my wife would agree. Hell if she knew half the **** I do on my street bike she would never stop giving me ****.

i like RedMica's idea of a police radar
'd be useful to see if they were anywhere near (aka hiding) or just being lazy n chillin on da back streets.GX30 Owner

yeh ive done it a couple of times (australia), by the way who was the person that crashed that they assumed was racing in aus?
coz recently a 21 year old guy in sydney australia killed himself his friend and his friends girlfriend in his dads modded r34 gtr. He launched into the air and 160km/h and lost it into a pole and snapped the car in half. It's really tragic and the government is considering putting bans on young drivers behind performance cars in australia coz of that-Daniel
