Re: Nissan Or Honda?
Honda. Their 1993 Civic was the second best card I EVER drove. The gas mileage and handling could not be beat. Sadly, it was totaled by a reckless driver running into me.

Re: Nissan Or Honda?
I say go with a Honda if you are a new driver; they are fun to drive and easy to maintain.

Re: Nissan Or Honda?
I think I prefer Hondas overall to Nissan. The VTEC engines of Honda are meant to be pretty good.

Re: Nissan Or Honda?
Depends on what you are looking for: a minivan or a car, sport or sedan.
I drive a Nissan ('05 Quest) but I think that if it comes down to actual quality and reliability Honda probably takes the cake over Nissan. Nissan has some great looking models (the z350, the Quest, the Maxima, etc.) but Honda's has some sweet looking models too (although I think the Odyssey looks like an old man...) and their product is top-notch.
Seems to me that Nissan needs to step things up a bit to get back in the race with Honda (and Toyota). They have what they need, they just don't seem to pay attention to some of the little things that Honda does.
I only went with the Nissan minivan over the Honda as it was bigger (more spacious interior), had some cool features (centre console, dash shift, etc.), was a really cool looking van and because it was a little cheaper.
But in looking to replace the wife's Pontiac Grand Am, I will be looking at a sedan type Honda or Toyota, rather than the Altima or Maxima.
