Ever gotten a ticket? Why?

Have you ever gotten a ticket for speed driving, no seat belt, talking on the phone, or anything else? Why?

I have never gotten a ticket, and I am really happy for that. Tickets are so expensive! If I ever get a ticket, my mom and dad will get really angry at me, and probably not let me drive for awhile. The last time my brother got a ticket, he tried to hide it from my mom, but she found the information in the mail, .

I've only gotten 1 ticket for speeding(50 in a 35), and my only other ticket was for rolling through a stop sign.

When I was younger... underage driving (lol). Now I get speeding tickets. I got a $1000 fine for racing a first time, then $2500 fine and my car impounded for racing (that cop didn't like me). And now you know why I repo cars (that I CAN'T get ticketed in with my "transport" tag

Got a ticket for going 80 mph in a 45 mph zone, up a hill. Funny thing is the car I was driving, was on it;s last legs, and would not have gone 80 mph down a hill being pushed by a nitro fueled race car!!!!

I went to court and said I didn't think the radar or whatever was used to check my speed had been correct, because I could prove on a flat track or parking lot, that the car would have had a hard time doing 60 on the flat road, let alone 80 on a 7% uphill grade.

Was able to prove this on a defensive driving test track, with me as the driver and later a state trooper as the driver. And I was able to get the car up to 69 mph and the trooper got it up to 75 in a couple of turns. But the good news is I was able to get out of the ticket, by proving the car could not have been going 80 up any hill, let alone the one I had gotten a ticket for "flying up".

The only other ticket I have ever gotten was a parking ticket.

got a ticket goin 9km over the speed limit in australia at 2am in the morning. Was pretty damn harsh.

Never got a ticket, and i have no points on my llicense, but im just waitin for the day it does happen. haha

never got a ticket whatsoever, i dont speed on main roads.

I got a ticket for spitting gum out the window..yeah pretty lame..

we dont have the time but i can tell you i have had my license suspended twice they said if they get suspended again i can never get them back.

i've gotten one for a seatbelt because the cop was an a--hole. one because we have the cameras on certain lights and i went through orange and the damn thing caught my back just when it turned red, i paid it too much of a hassle to go to court over a matter where you can't win anyway. and another two for speeding in the burbs, cops got nothing better to do. one actually was bulls--t because i was not speeding but two miles under the limit but he "clocked" me at fifteen over, i told him the situation he acted like an asshole told me he did and had the nerve to ask if my spedometer is doing incorect readings. im like that is for five over at the most if it would be, but fifteen over is impossible because even if i did not notice it there was medium traffic on the road.
