1985 Vauxhall Astra Van (Estate), mine has gone round the clock twice since I bought it in 1991 with 55,000 on the clock. Never missed a beat until this year when it holed the inlet valve. First bit of engine maintenance apart from the routine bits. It is only a 1300 but returns 42 mpg. Love it to bits but the bodywork is getting long in the tooth due to rain in the UK!
