Re: Motorola Razr V3 Review Part 2

The phone isn't that bad, but I'm starting to look around for another one. The OS is way to slow for me and it takes too long to do certain things. Plus I want a higher quality camera and I'm sick of having the same phone everyone else has. Seriously. At work we are sitting on a table and I pull out my phone to text, the person sitting diagnally from me picks up their phone cuz it's ringing, we both had Razrs, a kid on the end noticed this and mentioned it, and all seven of us pulled out our Razrs, there were two blacks, three silvers, and two pinks...

Re: Motorola Razr V3 Review Part 2

I don't even surf the net on it anymore, it's not that the phone is slow, but it's internet connection is slower. The OS is slow though! But I"m not gettin a new phone for a while, I want a feature full phone, but not with the kind of useless features that the iPhone presents, but enough to make the phone unique... but I still enjoy using my Razr. And I love having T-Mobile and being able to switch networks. When I went to wyoming, none of my friend's phones had service, but I had nearly five bars no matter where I went, for the most part (between Alpine, Teton, and Jackson Hole) I was using Edge Wireless.

    Perfect phone?

It is one of the better ones that I have had and I have been using cell phones since the mid '80s. The only one that I like more is the old Nokia 6100.
May main problems have been mentioned in this thread. I would like to connect to a pc and a charger at the same time, the Nokia could. The other is slow a browser. I consider that secondary as my primary use is as a phone, secondary for texting. Photo e-mailing is next then browsing.

Re: Motorola Razr V3 Review Part 2

I agree, this phone kicks butt. It does make me mad sometimes though. It started developing this thing where it likes to turn off and on by itself when I pull it off the charger. I have to remove the battery every-time I finish with the recharge. This isn't a huge issue but at least it has a quick work-around.

And then there is the slow OS which bugs me when I'm changing wallpapers or trying to look through pictures on my phone. But this phone has been by my side for almost two years and I honestly haven't had any major issues with it. There hasn't been one day where it didn't work.

I'm still looking around for the next phone for me, I want to find it now so when mine finally dies I will be ok and know how much and where to pick it up. There sure aren't many choices that I like though, to be honest. I think I may even go with the newest version of the Razr that is out at the time of my Razr's death, whenever that will be.

But yeah, that Razr I have reviewed, not once, but twice! Is still going strong!
