I would like to write a review for the LG Chocolate phone found exclusively at Verizon Wireless. I've had this phone for about a year now and must say I am thouroughly impressed and really love this phone. I judge phones based on their, looks, features, and opinions of buyers that have already bought the phone.
To start off about the looks, the first thing that drew me to it was its sleek design. The phone is also a sliding phone which adds to it's unique qualities. This phone also comes in a variety of colors such as black, white, blue, green, and red. In my opinion all the colors look magnificent on the phone. When you slide the phone upward, the screen shows up clear and bright. On the upper portion (with the screen) is a click wheel which is much like the Ipod's. It is touch sensitive which is a first, even for modern phones. On the lower portion is the phone's keypad with numbers and letters (for text messaging). Another good quality about the phone is that as soon as you turn it on the date and time are displayed. This is very convenient and works just as well as a wristwatch. I also like that the phone is small and somewhat thin, so it can easily fit in a pocket and is therefore very easy to take around. When you go to the menu screen, the different features are shown in a wheel display. This to me is very unique, and it adds to the amazing qualities of this one-of-a-kind phone.
As you can probably tell, this phone really looks nice, but now I'd like to write a little bit about the features of this phone. You can do various things with the LG Chocolate like listen to music, add and keep track of contacts, write notes, use bluetooth and much more. First off I'd like to elaborate on the music feature. You can buy a sandisk card for the LG Chocolate. It has 1GB of memory and can store up to 250 songs and photos/videos as well. If you buy a media pack for the Chocolate, you can also get headphones and a USB cable. You may be wondering how and where you get the music from. The great thing is you can take music from CDs and burn and sync them to your phone using Windows Media. You can also buy songs from VCAST (the Itunes of Verizon Wireless) which is easy and fun. The songs are only about 99 cents apiece and the sound quality is excellent. The LG Chocolate does come with a speaker, but it isn't very loud, so I would recommend you use headphones. Another excellent feature is the 1.3 megapixel camera. It can take satisfactory quality pix and display them on your phone. You can even set the pix as your background. You can keep track of many contacts as well. There is also a search function so you can find your contacts quickly and easily. You can also text message using the phones keypad. I don't text message much but I find it very easy to do so when I do. Bluetooth capability is also available on this phone. You can send content from one phone to another easily using this feature. Different tools in this phone include the calender (where you can save events to dates), the alarm clock (where you can wake up to saved music), the world clock (to figure out what time it is in different parts of the world, a notepad, a calculator, and even a tip calculator. This phone has everything you need, and best of all its all in the palm of your hand!
I think I've gone over most of the key aspects of the LG Chocolate phone by Verizon Wireless. I would rate this phone a 9 out of 10 for its outstanding capabilities and looks. I would definitely recommend this phone to anyone who is currently looking. Believe me it is worthwhile!

Re: LG Chocolate Review
In addition, Chocolate has a poor performance in file transfer through cable. Its under 1MB per sec. The waiting time becomes significantly longer when transfer alot of music at once or a video file.
Also, the connnection is established through ActiveSync, this means the files will go through the processor which further slows the transfer rate. I strongly suggest the use of card reader!

Re: LG Chocolate Review
I impressed with this phone because of Slide-open and vibrant LCD color screen.
