The internet browser is almost as counter-intuitive and cubersome to use as a non-smartphone browser!

If I remember right, there were 2 themes. BLAH!

I went ahead and got the PDA. Still touch, still qwerty keys, and windows mobile. And happy to say I've only had one. (hope I'm not jinxing myself). Looking into the future, I like the Nokia with "The Dark Knight" theme. It'll be a few months then I can get one on new every two. I'll miss my qwerty though.

People are going crazy for the Iphone because they have no mind of their own. Apple says "You need the iPhone!" and people just blindly follow that trend. The only good thing about the iPhone is that it is pushing vendors to create better feature-rich phones for the US market. But the iPhone on its own just shows you how easily a company can control the thoughts of a person. What gets me is that after Apple ripped customers off by installing software on unlocked phones that turned the phone into a brick; those same people bought the iPhone 3G! So Apple can not only rip someone off, they can hurt these trend followers and they will still buy more junk from Apple! Even though the iPhone 3G cost more, the plan cost more, and the service is only in a few markets. Not to mention AT&T cost more then any other carrier for the same types of services.

I just always find it sad that a company can make a trend and people fall for it.

So I hope Verizon never gets an iPhone! There is a billion times better PDA's out there for less of a cost. It is Just really, really sad how easy it is to con customers into buying something they don't need....

To be honest, I've never interested in LG. I usually prefer Sony Ericsson or Nokia phones. But i think that this handset is pretty good... Maybe it's just brand preference, hehe. I'm looking forward to see more reviews. Thanks.

Personally I have trouble trusting an LG product since I have had LG CD/DVD drives for my computer and they always seemed cheaply made and tended to die quickly. The one thing I found weird with this phone is that the antenna is actually on the bottom. Or at least that is where the sticker is that says "do not cover this area while talking." I don't know about most people but I hold the phone from the bottom to middle while talking. Not the best placement IMO.

My sister got one of these and she seems to like it for the most part. I have always been a fan of LG over Motorola, but I agree that Nokia has some nice stuff. I look forward to their first full QWERTY slider.

    LG Voyager Extended Network Question

Hi I just got the LG Voyager in Titanium for Christmas and it's a great phone, but there's one question I have about it: My house is kind of down in the woods, and I get kind of patchy signals. In some parts of the house it says searching for service, and in others, it says extended network. I asked a guy from the verizon store if extended network charges you extra when you use your phone to call or text. He said it wouldn't. But when I just tried to make a call on extended network, it had a little red strip at the top of where it said calling... and the strip was a roaming timer. I am very confused now because the guy at verizon said it wouldn't roam or cost extra on extended network, but if htis is so, why is there a roaming timer? Please help me. I would really appreciate it. Thank you.
