I am so excited to have a new Lotus hit my stores. I was a super huge fan of the original Lotus (LG600) and to have this phone deliver as well as it does makes me a happy camper. The phone brings from the original the odd square “compact” form factor that I really do enjoy. You have a small feeling device in your pocket but as soon as you open it up you have a phone that reaches from ear to mouth. So far the phone has been a hit in the limited time we have had them with out having a return or exchange at my location.

Here are the main features of the phone:
    • QWERTY keyboard
    • QVGA Display
    • EVDO data
    • 2mp camera
    • Stereo Bluetooth
    • microSD memory
    • External touch screen with music controls

User interface is more fun and interactive with a very nice external touch screen and Sprint's revolutionary One-Click interface. Volume controls on the left side of the handset under a 2.5mm headset jack. On the right side you have a screen lock under a dedicated camera key and at the bottom of the right side is a Micro SD card slot that supports up to a 32 gig card. It does come stock with a 1 gig card. The external screen is huge at 2.4” diagonal, the internal is the same dimensions minus the touch interface. What I found interesting about the camera setup, which is a 2+ megapixel, is the fact that it swivels with the phone when it is opened. For example when taking a picture of something other then a self portrait, you capture it while the phone is closed using the nice external screen as a view finder.

This phone is great for almost any user. My mother, who is better then 65 years old uses the original Lotus and has no issues with any type of learning curve. The phone functions almost identical to the original minus the external touch screen which can control most all of the phones features. With that being said I can recommend this device to users of all ages. The full QWERTY keyboard has a nice feel and is responsive while messaging or calling out. Overall I would use this phone on my personal account due to the fact that it is a full multimedia phone that supports all of Sprints 3G services like Sprint TV, NASCAR Mobile, and NFL Mobile.

This phone starts out at 99.99 after MIR with a new or qualified 2 year upgrade. It does not require a full data plan but would work very nicely on Sprint Everything Data plans as it supports the 3G services included on those price plans. But for those who do not want to spend the extra money on data, you can slap it on a Everything Messaging plan and be just fine.

I will close out my first review with any cons I have been able to find on this device. I am looking at this device with as much un-biased opinions as I can, so believe me when I point out what I believe is a downfall on the device. Firstly my pet peeve on all phones is dedicated “@” key on QWERTY devices, this device of which does not have. Thankfully it does have a dedicated “.” key unlike my Blackberry. I will add that the camera not being a free swiveling camera can be weird but with the nice external screen I wont hold that too much against its overall quality. Lastly, and this wont be the last time you hear this but I am not a fan of One-Click not being optional. You will hear this from me more then you think.

On my reviews I will follow up with them as I sell more and have more customers coming in with complaints and compliments. I hope you enjoyed my view on the new LG Lotus Elite.

    Re: LG Lotus Elite Review

LG Lotus Elite has welcomed the great and good coverage in areas with full force more than half full bars in areas with coverage is just fine. Both incoming and outgoing audio quality is very clear and loud voice is excellent with ends, and any background noise is not white. Lotus Elite is a database storing each contact numbers 7 and full contact information with the ability to enter can store 600 entries.
We must be the change we want to see
