Have You Seen What's on TV-Shirt Today?
A marketing firm will debut clothing turned into portable commercials for clients.

Americans falling short of the daily average of three hours spent watching TV have a new opportunity to catch up.

Starting today, a San Francisco marketer is sending models out in public in T-shirts with built-in television sets.

"People of my generation and younger are so used to moving images on TV that if it's not a moving image, it doesn't move them," said 30-year-old pitchman Adam Hollander, who created the Adver-Wear shirts.

His company, Brand Marketers, will debut the T-shirts today at theaters, malls and elsewhere to promote the Fox movie "I, Robot."

An 11-inch flat screen is mounted at chest level in each shirt, and four hidden speakers deliver sound. A shirt weighs about 6 1/2 pounds and costs about $1,000 to make.

what i cant understand is how do they physically carry around the tvs on their shirts?? do they not weigh a ton?? are their tshirts made out of special material or something?? because even if you have a badge on your tshirt it pulls it out of shape, what happens when you have a huge tv on it?!!

I believe the t-shirt was the tv... for $1,000 they can be rather lightweight... probably like the lcd monitor of the portable dvd's... now there's where the porn and bad taste might come into play... but tv should be okay as long as your t-shirt doesn't have ummm... cable.

does it run on like ten double A batteries? or you can charge it next to your cellphone. hold up, i gotta take off my shirt to charge it. muahahahaha.

its a cool idea but kinda pointless cuz you really cant watch what you have on your chest.
