The day before x-mas. I like to start bragging now. So everyone thinks i got them a great gift, then i get to see them totaly dissapointed (but they still have to act like they are happy).

I always say I will go right after Thanksgiving, do it little by little. But I am such a procrastinator that I'll end up shopping the week of Christmas

I collect gifts throughout the year when I see something that I think is suitable....
I love to go down and shop when the shops are open for 24 hours the week before christmas - there are so many people around in the early hours it's amazing ....
I only have a few gifts left to get .... I gave Paxy her birthday present yesterday, her birthday is Christmas day, but I thought I would have it a bit early this year for her
I have to buy for grandpa - any ideas people, I find it hard to buy for guys, last year I got him a polo shirt.....

You sound exactly like me 'Cozi! I really have everything but I too love to just be around when everyone's out and about shopping and such... I always hung out on The Miracle Mile when I lived in Chicago and would sometimes pick up a small thing or two but mostly stayed out of the long lines and frantic customers ways and just enjoyed the carolers and sipping on hot cocoa and egg nog they'd usually be handing out as samples.
As for Grandpa... I probably wouldn't go for clothing... it's just too difficult to know what someone really likes with that... I prefer something useful or some sorta' cool (newfangled!) gadgets or something... grandparents love pics of their grandchildren and family... maybe an interactive digital picture frame... they have 'em at Sharper Image I do believe... or plenty of other gadgets if that doesn't interest you... or else that personal audio/video jukebox is kinda' cool too. Oh! and also when you get older you tend to forget and lose things or your vision begins to go so this might be another option too! ...and for Gamma I might get this lil' thing called a "Feline Frolic exerciser".Last edited by G-man; 12-01-2004 at 11:24 PM.

I've been doin' a lot of mine online this year....
If you've got someone hard to buy for try www.novica.com (affiliated with National Geographic)
I especially like their unique but inexpensive jewelry for the girlies in my familyLast edited by jeaniesing; 12-02-2004 at 11:25 AM.
