I have DirecTV and DirecWay.
As far as the TV goes, I like the interface DTV gives you to search through channels.
DirecWay for high-speed internet is not as bad as I thought it would be. I moved out of the city limits and had to give up DSL. Cable doesn't come out this way, eithr. So, as an only choice I use Direcway. I suppose overall I'm pretty happy with it.

I have both.
Digital cable with a TiVo clone for the main house and also for my broadband cable modems.
I also have Direct TV with TiVo in my office for the football package.

I have farmer vision- which is fine- cause the only thing I ever have time to watch is THE O.C. cause I can't miss that- best show ever!!

I have 2 dishes. Directv (American), and Bell Express Vu (Canadian). Can't get cable here. If we could I wouldn't pay for it anyways (that doesn't mean I wouldn't have it though
)

Here is something to think about.
If you have VOOM that is satellite, but your money goes to Cablevision.
The best provider gives you a plan with the minutes you need at the right price. The coverage that you need to make calls all the time.
