That story 100% true saw it on CNN. How does somthing like that happen? Somewhere someone lost a finger, maybe at the processing plant maybe at wendys, but you think they would shut the place down untill they found the missing finger or at least not ship out the product, because there "might" be a finger in it!

... anybody know if the finger's been identified yet? *wonders if that was all that was left of the body... or have they just not found it yet?*

That's just disgusting!!
And while we're on the subject... last summer, my brother got a double cheeseburger from Burger King that, after he bit into it, smelled like bovine fecal matter. This BK was in Chicago, but I can't remember exactly where.
Well, so much for being hungry for dinner. hehe.
I just re-read the previous posts. D'oh. I'm guessing that all the chili for Wendy's is made in big food manufacturing plants. Someone was probably working on the factory line and *BAM!!* -- finger gets hacked off by some moving machinery. But then the finger accidentally gets packaged with the food and next thing you know, that lady's biting down on it.
I used to work in a food manufacturing plant and I've seen a few accidents before. Some are pretty bad, but I've never seen anyone lose a digit before.Last edited by MechMan; 03-26-2005 at 05:48 PM.

One of my treasured college memories was Tuesady "all you can eat chili night" at Wendy's.... You didn't pay much to sit at Wendy's with a big groupful of friends... it was a well-kept secret too - it was usually our group and a few senior citizens....
