hehe... well apparently it's not the first time this has happened... there was a piece of a thumb in some salad not so long ago... I'm not certain what the payout was though...

Apparently, all the employees up the chain were interviewed with a polygraph... they said they found nothing... personally, I don't believe the finger came from an employee... even after fingerprinting the finger... nothing came up in the national database.

This story is acutally being discredited. The lady did bite into a finger, however, she is notorius for suing. She's sued other fast food places in the past and her house was searched under a warrant for "missing fingers." In any case, she just dropped her suit against Wendy's so i think that kinda says a lot! i'll look for a link but it's been on our evening news nearly every nite. (i'm about 45 min away from the Wendy's this happened at)

i just saw this in cnn about an hour ago. the woman thats claiming that she get a finger in her chilli is have a lot of law suite to alot of fast food chain. i think this is a fraud. this woman is doing this just to get money and thats what the fed think too.

No doubts here, she'll crack too... you can see from how easily she withdrew her lawsuit. Besides... you can't lie to the "Feds"... they have their methods... she'll get 6 months just for lying to an agent.
Has anyone seen Wendy's stocks since all this began? (apparently their sales are down 20%... that's a lot!... I'm certain that will lead to a number of employees losing their jobs...) Wendy's will go after her for damages too...
