    Verizon has ptt also. I think that nextel still is better. What do you all think?

    For Push To Talk, I guess nextel is still the leader, but it's coverage is so spotty, that I personally would go with Verizon.

    depends on where you are at. If Nextel has a strong signal then Nextel might be the choice. If you have Verizon push to talk friends then VZW might be the choice. If Nextel is spotty or not there and Verizon has a good signal then Verizon is the choice.
    Verizon has worked and worked with winphoria PTT system to get it going faster. It has gotten lot faster since day 1. Not to the speed of Nextel.
    The best provider gives you a plan with the minutes you need at the right price. The coverage that you need to make calls all the time.

    I think that its just the rep. that people give nextel that they were the first people to have that.
