Weightlifting

I don't know what it is, but now that I've weightlifted for about a year, I can't seem to not want to.

Anyone else love weightlifting!?

I don't know about loving it, but it's a part of my regemin each and every week...
Helps keep me looking good, healthy and at my peak. I also do a number of aerobic activities every day too in the mornings... then in the early evening I usually play some sort of intense sport.

The Iron Gods are talking to you. At least that's what I call it.

When I was lifting in the NDFPLA, there were times where I had force myself not to lift.

I was in a bit of an accident a few years ago, and basically had to start over. I went from 21" arms (cold) to 14" arms.

The Iron Gods have started to look my way again. Just did a legal 300 lb bench last week at a meet, and cheated 345 lbs. Hopefully I'll get back to a steady clean 350.

Don't know how, but my squat and deadlift didn't really get effected near as much as my bench.

My total last week was:

300 bench
345 squat
410 deadlift
1055 total

Not bad for a 40 and over category lifter

Like G-man i wouldnt say love, but its part of my routine!

It's a love and hate relationship for me.
