I would say '96 when I got to see the Smashing Pumpkins in concert - still lives in my memory as the best concert I've ever been too
I adore the 'pumpkins!
hmmm what else happened that year .... I was still living in Queensland... enjoying year round sunshine and beautiful weather... I miss Queensland weather....

'96 in Sidney? I wanted to go to that show...
...that was a rather sad year now that I think about it... at least around July 11th on... and I still haven't been able to make it down under. One of these days though... maybe next year... I plan on taking off a few months to travel...

naa I saw them in Brisbane....
the support was an Aussie band Def FX they are no longer around but were very cool

I still love to hear it when some of my younger friends tell me about this great singer (Jeff) they have just discovered (some Brit' guy has been doing covers of his work lately)...
I have always loved his music (I don't think I quite do him justice singing along at the top of my lungs in my car )

Oh dear... I remember when I was asked to front a Jeff cover band... just couldn't do it. Although, I did quite a few covers of his songs when I was performing on my own... I believe I had some recordings made too..
