    Hello,

Just wondering, has anyone else, like Apple, thought of this. I'm sure they must have something in the works, I mean, with Sony's comination phone/mp3 player coming out soon, I think now would be a good time to do it.

I think a Nintendo Gameboy/Phone would be a sweet toy too!

they have a gameboy/phone, called the "N-gage." My friend has one but doesn't use it at all to play games, so instead he just as an awkward looking phone that he uses.

It's highly amusing to watch him talk into it, however.

geez. apple is snagging up the entire mp3, mp4 market. Not to complain, as ipods are built really well.

Though the price is unfortunately steep.

MP4? What is that. Technology really pisses me off. My wallet is empty becuase as soon as I get something, it is always "old news." I wish I lived before electronics.

mp4 is basically the follow up to the mp3. It isn't as widely used yet, but it's picking up as itunes/quicktime/ipods are able to play it.

Basically it's a more advanced form of the mp3 file. You get greater sound quality for the same file size, etc.

most phones (normal looking ones) already have a built-in mp3 player so i reckon the bigger and weirder looking combinations aint that cool. i dunno man the hp ipaq and O2 xda are freakin huge to actually use as a phone...i prefer normal looking, appropriate sized phone...they have everything u need anyway

I think there is a difference between a phone that plays MP3s and an IPOD phone. I have an iPod mini. Its so well built, sleek, and can do so much. I think if there was ever an iPhone (candy bard, but flip would be great too) it would have great success.

N-gage was the biggest flop on the market

I remember people thought it would be a serious competitor of Nintendo. I think if they could take the "Nintendo" name, and put it on a device no bigger than a Treo, if would be sweet.

This would be a great idea. I personally have both an Ipod and cell phone and their the two devices I bring everywhere.

Is there a way to convert iTunes to regular MP3s and put them on a cell phone that doesn't have "itunes?"

uhh....yeh but its gonna take u a while to do. u need a program that'll record from your sound card. then u'll have to record the actual song u want at the rate the song plays. then shorten the song if u want, if not just put it on ur phone
