The PS3 will be backwards compatible, meaning it will have the ability to play PS and PS2 games.
thus far the xbox will not be.

Even though im not a fan of X-box...this isn't true. If X-box would've had the selection playstation did, it would've beat out PS2 anyday...X-box online is so much better and advanced than Ps2's...i hope PS3's is half as good.

Neither. But if I had to pick one, I'd go with the Sony.

I'm Getting The Ps3, But I'm Also Getting Something You Left Out. The Nintendo Revolution. The Ps3 (from What I've Gathered) Is So Much More Powerful Than Xbox 360 That Developers Are Making Ps3 First Priority. I'm Disappointed That Revolution Will Probably Not Be As Powerful As Either, But You Can't Deny Nintendo's Games And That Is The Ultimate Factor. I Will, In The Long Run, Buy A 360 Too. (I've Got All Three Current Machines Now)

i dunno about the new nintendo, i had a cube for quite awhile but it honestly gathered dust. It was good for exclusive titles, but they rarely came out .. If you had to convince someone to buy the new nintendo, how would u explain it to them ???

definately first the PS3 and then the Xbox. All spec's point out that the PS3 is far, far advanced over the Xbox. Besides, if it wasn't for Halo, where would Xbox really be?

it doesnt matter at the end of the day, coz anything that goes up against the leading brand will always fall short,
lets see the list of victims of the playstation era
Dreamcast/n64/gamecube/xbox
its not that these are bad consoles it that there are only a few games that actually stand out on each console,
Never Fear Manny is Here
