My night
So tonight...me and 3 of my friends go out to the local fireworks to watch. They sucked, were absolutely terrible and we weren't pleased. So we decided to go out and buy some of our own fireworks. The biggest one cost us $25...and then we just had a bunch of bottle rockets and such. While we go out to the country and light these off, about 6 total cars drive past us. So we finally light off all the fireworks we wanted to light off for the night and pack it up. We start getting in the car and a truck pulls up behind us and...lights come on. Blue and red ones. Great, a cop right as we are leaving. He finds a bottle we left out in the cornfield...looks at our fireworks...and tells us its only legal to possess snakes and smokes bombs (there were like 2 other things, but they were all kiddy fireworks of course) So he confiscates all of our fireworks...and goes to write 2 citations. 1 for lighting off fireworks and another for littering.
Both fines came out to be a total of approximately $400, but they could've added up to be a possible $2,000! For fireworks! ...this cop was extremely nice though and we got off with those 2 tickets...still sucks, but whatever.
So that was my story, hope you enjoyed it.
What a crappy night.

It just gets me mad when i see little kids lighting off bottle rockets while I'm playing tennis, and we are the only ones that get in trouble for it.

In Iowa no fireworks since 1959 (just sparklers), but everybody goes to South Dakota or Missouri to get'um. They can only bust you for lighting them and not having them. Some counties and cities in Iowa nowbust you for having them.
The best provider gives you a plan with the minutes you need at the right price. The coverage that you need to make calls all the time.

fireworks
Fireworks were just made legal in Georgia before the 4th of July rush, and only "sparklers" were made legal and they defined it as something that didn't shoot past 16 feet I think, and the stores here are just taking way too much advantage, I think the stuff they sell go up 100+ feet and those are definetly not sparklers in my opinion but stores dont care because 4th of july=fireworks, and fireworks=$$$$$!

Re: Fireworks...
It's quite an interesting story. Please be more careful next time. If I want to have a party, then my friend orders equipment on Sparkular . Recently, it took a lot of pyrotechnics for a spectacular wedding
