I have a few friends and aquaintances that have it pre-ordered and reserved... as for me? I can wait until the second shipment 2 days afer the first ... I'm certain there will be some craziness - but hey;; all the hype creates the craziness therefore its exactly what they want/need!

Does anyone have details on the making of THIS movie yet? I'm not a fanatic follower so I haven't kept up on it.

I mean Half Blooded Prince... let's face it... there HAS to ba a movie... and it can't have the same actors!

originally the three actors only signed up for the 1st 3 books....a re-negotiation for the fourth was made for continuity I guess...i think whoever will portray the characters in book 5 might do book 6 too..

Supposely in Canada (I think British Columbia) a few people who reserved the book received it already, but a judge told them to keep it secret. Shouldn't the store which gave it early also be penalized??

it will have the same actors cause they did sign up 4 all da movies cause ,and the 6 &7 are gonna take longer cause they are supposed 2 take a rest after the 5th

they should penilize the store but probably money waz involved between the judge and store owner but u know da sayin money talks, bullsh*t walks

i doubt it though the kids are growing fast...

that waz da point u know they stared at the age that the book had said they have a contract and if they do that they are in breach of contract

I'll pick up my copy this friday for sure.

Heh... I was standing across the street from a bookstore yesterday and got sucked into it... small town, privately owned place... I asked if all of their copies were reserved yet and they said "no, we have plenty of extras" so I reserved a copy .

Let's face it with the current actors... in the LAST movie they were too old for their roles... the books progress at the pace of 1 year=1 book - the movies are not keeping that pace. I hated that we had changed voices in the last one and have no desire to see a 22 year old "harry"...

i can understand jeans opinion i have reserved 5 copys i am selling 4 and keeping 1 but i must make a profit

Guys, I thin the volume printed this time will leave enough copies in stores. And the craze is going away a little. I see that the interest has waned in my child and his friends. But they would still read it but would not wait in line from the previous night to get a copy.

If you have a warehouse retailer like sams or costco near you place, check it out on sat morning, they are likely to have plenty of copies and they dont take advance orders.

For those who got the book in Canada, I believe they will get a copy of the book signed by the author for keeping the plot a secret till the launch day.

This book is after a long time. Movies will take even longer. I loved the characters and would have liked the movies to be made quickly with the same actors. Unfortunately that is not likely to happen. I loved the first Professor Dumbledore much more than the last one.
