Rap vs. Rock

id have to say rap. no disresect to rock..im not gonna be the one to put it down, its just not what i like.

when i say rap, you gotta know what im talkin about...

in no way am i reffering to any of the lil jon/ying yang twins stuff...thats hip hop. and im DEFINETELY not refferin to 50 cent...in my opinion the stuff hes puttin out is pop music. im talkin about mobb deep(unfortunatly with g unit now),common,d-block,wu-tang,alot of old school stuff...the stuff with messages in the songs and songs that told stories. whether you wanna call that music or not, i love listenin to songs like "boyz in the hood" by eazy-e and "it was a good day" by ice cube.

A combo of Rap and Rock

rock is better, to mock rap, ill make a rap and say rap is crap, and they wear stupid hats. but anyway dance music is better than both.. so

but i do get everyones point about liking proper rap, not 50 cent and eminem and all that crap, so i respect that.

i have a nice size library if you think about it.
i have everyone from Jay-Z to Disturbed in it.
i just like to listen to music of all nature.

People who look at it like this are people who still base rap on da 80's and early 90's. Most rap songs now will have more musical talent than any other genre.
