    Currnet rate: 5.24KBPS
    CPU usage: 21% (downloading DOTNETFX.exe)

AOL says: try a different number, did that, same results

You're complaining about 5.24KBPS download speeds on dial up? Thats prob nearly tippin max spead on dial up! :s
And tell me, was everyone at AOL dropped on their heads as babies, Fibre optics not suitable for broadband??! , Fibre optics is the best choice for broadband, coz it can theoretically provide nearly unlimited bandwidth potential!
Id move away from AOL for actually saying such a stupid thing! Never like AOL anyway, they butcher your connection.

    Re: AOL runing VERY slow?

Dug up a DEAD post, lmao... After complaining enough, I'm down to $9.95 a month for AOL. Time warner is not in my area, and Comcast want's almost $50 for "YOUR OWN IP ADDRESS" . Download speeds are still SLOW and DSL? Not in my area still.

    Just wait for it

hahaha yea i was just browsing being a newbie an all i notice AO-HELL so i had to post a reply. they were suppose to e-mail me when high speed was available in my area but they never did. i found out by accident when i called them on an unrelated issue. but $9.95 isnt too bad for dial up. the last i heard were they were going to make it free i wonder how thats working out.
