so I think I've had ~2grand before...then I look here and notice this....what's going on here? Did I ultimately have 35grand stolen?

so what does that mean? T tried four times to rape me...and failed. at those funds. Then succeeded after having FAILED FOUR TIMES....
Isn't the whole premise behind thief! that when you fail you loose rep and capacity to burn someone with a better rep with a direct correlation to the amount you're attempting to steal? How does one loose four times at a total of ~32grand???? then win on the fifth? I know T has 200 rep currently which still blows my 1 hehe...how much rep would've been lost then to begin with if 4 attempts failed @ a cost of 32grand?
I don't get this.
lastly...how come moderators can be thieves? They should be exempt from such vices....

Everytime he failed... he actually doubled your money. This came out of his pocket... had you caught him in the act and banked this you'd have essentially robbed him. You only lost 2k or so though. Need a lil' donation? Just let me know.

^ ohhhhh I get it. My main concern was that the last thief was 32...and I was stumped because I was sure I only had ~2g's.
So then I looked again at the first attempt and then it begins to make sense.
What I still am curious about is how much rep would he have lost doing this venture? Ending up at 200. I know I played with this feature when I first joined...but being a noob getting out of that 5block brown negative rep rut really was painful.
lil' donation...never refused...but I'm okay,

Haha! That's not the primary vice they should be exempt from... (or at least fix how it currently works... otherwise remove it entirely.) or at least some cowardly mods should rather. I'll donate ya' some if you promise to try and get yours back... with plenty of interest.

the software lies ... it SAID that once you acheived a certain rep level you would be untheifable.... UNTRUE! So many mods worked hard to acheive a very high rep power for nothing (as it turned out) and now have rep to burn... I figure that any cash left out of your bank account is fair game
as for rep lost? Check your User CP to see your actual # of rep points... For every successful thievery you lose 5 reputation points (NOT rep power, the green bars under your cpf$ - that is how much you will affect anothers' score when you give them rep points), For every failed thievery you lose 50 reputation points
I used to know the ratio of points to power... and the exceptions... if you're dying to know I'll refigure it

Re: Thief Statistics...explain this to me
I've tried thieving 3 or 4 times and have been unsuccessful every time. I don't get it. The last two times I targeted people with negative rep thinking that would increase my odds. No luck there.
Is there anything you can do to guarantee a successful thief?

Re: Thief Statistics...explain this to me
It's in the features store... you have to put out the amount you want to steal from someone (meaning, as far as I can tell, you're limited by how much you have). If you put CPF$100 out of your bank, you can in theory steal that much from someone else.
It's yet to work for me. I don't know what variables effect your odds. I'm guessing rep, but people seem pretty stingy about giving that around here.

Under people's avatars there are those three little icons. The one that looks like a scale... click on it. Pretty self explanatory from there.
