So for any White Stipes fans out there...the White stripes will be performing on the Daily Show with Jon Stewart.
Cool... ! I have seen them a bunch of times and they never fail to impress and peak your curiousity because they are so unusual. I love them. Highly recommended for your tv viewing Friday night.
Now to embark on a tangent of freedom of speech...
I just had some thoughts listening to Howard this morining and goofing around on the Internet. The FCC has been coming down so hard on Howard Stern for so long. I am so sad to see him go. Are you guys worried about what the radio will turn into? Are you worried about your rights of the First Amendment and the freedom of speech? I think we all start to think about censorship and what we plan on doing about it. I wonder how Napster gets away with a racy video like this... check it out. http://www.getthewholething.com/ We don't get ads like THAT in the US. I wish we did. It’s a Napster test commercial that got leaked from the UK. Think it’ll make it to TV in the U.S.? The movies.... AHHHHHH! War of the Worlds gets a PG -13 rating yet, you show a little booby and it's an R. What's WRONG with this world??? Thoughts anyone? Are you frightened? Mad? Confused? Do you care?

In my opinion people who are extremely pro censorship either have no self control and don't want to not own up to their personal responsibility or they think that everybody is an idiot. But we bring it on our collective selves because we are too busy blaming the media for our own shortcommings. The napster girl video is very racy but it doesn't make me want to snip people from a roof or go out and be a stripper so it works-I actually thought it was a pretty clever way of getting a point across. Will napster fight to have it on air?

yeah I would be curious to see if the napster girl makes it onto tv... that would be a trip. I also heard a rumor that there is another even racier version that was "released" in France, but I am still checking to see if it's true. Have you heard anything about that one??? Supposedly there are two girls in it...lol. I guess the US can only handle one!

No I am SOOOOO NOT worried as I've purchased a Sirius Satellite receiver!! I love Howard Stern and that's my reason for choosing it. Although, I think that's where the radio industry is headed... all the new cars have it, all the new head units out there do too. Everyone will soon be on the satellite train!!

The last show ought to be pretty good. Can you imagine crack head bob, Wendy the Retard and High Pitch all on the same stage. Awesome lol

You think that first one was crazy? I saw that the released an "uncut" audition version of that video with the same actress that is even more "racy". My friend sent me the link and now I'm just confused . . .about so many things! HA!
