CPF Toolbar

Would anyone be interested in a CPF Toolbar (similar to eBay/Google Toolbars)? I want some feedback before I even ask the moderators if they will allow me to do it. I've made several which have worked pretty well. Just let me know!

Hey robb4248... I finally have a beta version ready. I have tested it many times (50+) and I think it's a good start. It does alert you on download that it's coming from an unknown publisher, other than that no snags on downloading it. Also, I'm not too sure what to add as additional buttons, I do have the CPF banner that links to CPF (obviously!)

Clicking this link will begin the download!!! It also has an uninstall button directly on it that will allow users to instantly remove it from their systems.

I guess anyone that wants to help me test it is welcome. I want to get as much feedback as possible before I ask the mods if we can release this as the OFFICIAL CPF TOOLBAR. Any comments/questions/concerns should be posted here, as this is the easiest way for me to manage the feedback.

Honest opinion, Doesnt appeal to much at all, yet! Theres no real point to it, Just a link back to CPF, Why would people just want that, With a bit of work, we could have a PM notification on it, And the search bar on it, search's CPF not the web, Simple things like dat! What language are you writing it in, or are ya just using a auto generate type thing?

I can work on the PM notification. The search idea can be implemented easy, which I will do tonight. I am using a helper program, but also doing a lot of code in xml.

if you're taking suggestions, how about a forum selector drop down box. it'd be a nice quick jump to your frequently visited forums.

I didn't see this till I saw it posted up on cnet. I honestly don't like it. One, it was made by a freebie program. Two, it looks like someone's getting commission on the links.

Please take it off of cnet in the meantime. I appreciate your enthusiasm
