Manual Vrs Predictive Text

I Use T9 (if you don't know: http://www.textfast.t9.com/ind ex1.htm ) alot for when it comes to text messaging recently, but i know that there are some people which still prefer to use the ABC way to text people. what do you use? and which is faster?

I use predictive mostly, but sometimes it annoys me and i'll go back to da oder way.

T9 predictive text most of the time. Occasionally I find a word it can't ***** and I have to switch to abc mode, (my phone can't ***** Voicemail unless i split it into two words). People who have trouble with their *****ing tend to use abc mode exclusively because they can ***** however they want.

I usually use the ABC mode, because I don't like how the T9 text option says that some words aren't real and will not allow me to enter them (No I do not usually make many *****ing errors. ). In rare occasions, when I need to type a message fast, I use T9.

I thought about my response above, and I didn't mean to imply that abc mode is just for people who can't *****, but I know someone who is a terrible *****er and he is always switching to abc mode and griping about how T9 "doesn't work" and of course, I know why it doesn't work for him...

No, you're not a loser! Not everyone has a use for text. I use it like paging, you can send a message to someone without having to ring their phone and talk to them. You can say "call me at 8pm" whereas it might be kind of silly to call someone at 7:30 just to tell them to call you back in half an hour.

Also, my AIM (AOL Instant Messenger) forwards to my SMS when I'm away from the computer, so I use around 300 texts a month chatting back and forth with friends while I'm out running errands or waiting in line at the grocery store.

i cant stand T9 it drives me nuts MANUAL forever

I only use T9. If my phone doesn't know a word then I have to "teach" it. It sucks that even after I "teach" it a word, it will be deleted from memory.... particuarly curse words.

hahaha I use T9 and then my friends reply 'who is ???' because it has chosen the wrong word and I get too lazy to read back thru the message

its weird how so many use ABC mode, one of my friends has a bitter hatred of T9, and he has never been able to explain his hatred... just that he has it :P

thats because he probably doesn't know how to use it.

it pisses me off when i try to say dont it says foot and crap like that.
