**This popped up in another thread, so figured, heck why not make it's own thread**

This bear votes for the user to put the seat in the position they need the seat to be. I mean if you think about it, if the seat it up, at least you know it's dry!

Oh and while we're at it... Fuzzy toilet seat covers that keep the seat from staying up... WTF?!?!?

I know in a household with kids that are at that flush it all stage of life, that lid locks are the key!

man you opened a can of worms with this one. i say it makes no differatance, up or down, whatever.

Well I still say after visiting other people's homes, the toilet user needs to put it in the position they need it in. But I am nice and whatever position it was in when I go in, is the position I put it back in when I visit.

My pet peeve is those slobs that come to my place and make the bathroom look like theirs or worse! What in the heck are they doing with all that water that's on the floor, on the walls (hey use the towels), and on the mirror? Are you washing dogs in there? Making water balloons? Squirt gun fights?

Always DOWN when not in use.

That is to prevent mosquito from bredding when not in use for a long time. My 2 cents worth.
