Clothing Retail Or Other?..

Guys & Ladies,
Im moving up to Nashville Tn due to my mom's job for 6 months and basically I have no where to go so I have to go with mom and dad. I gotta question where would be a good place to work? I think working at Abercrombie & Fitch would be fun! I know how to talk to customers. I wear abercrombie & fitch so basically yeah. Mom told me to check into the wild horse saloon? I dont like drinking much I know im almost 24 next week but I unno. I dont really know anyone there so basically it sucks for right now. but ne who! What place will be fun to work at? Wild horse saloon ?

You don't really drink, so can I assume you're not really into the bar scene ? You really have to be a certain type of person in order to work in a bar. Patrons often drink wayyyy too much, they'll hit on you, they'll try to touch you, some will even try to get aggressive with you.

Not that I'm trying to scare you into not working there, but like I said, you have to be a certain type of person to be able to do it.

Ever think about selling cell phones ?

I fully understand what your saying...I just want to work in a place where people are friendly and your co-workers arent snobs and rude to each other. I been there and I dont wanna go back there. I use to drink time to time but not much anymore. I check into everything when I get there i guess

dont abercrombie and fitch hire only young attractive caucasian people?

i heard they were kind of racist and stereotypical in some sort of way

cz i never seen an african american abercrombie model, or asian or latino model and so on

i think hollister co. is a cool dun atmospheric enviroment to work

its a cool place to be seen working(well depending on your age) i applied for a job there, but i didnt have time to work anymore jobs cz i already have two jobs

or another option is to work at a more high end place if u are really good with people, i used to work in a lacoste retailer, its fun, and it smells good and the good thing is its in a mall(well most of them are) and not many people go to shop! they just window shop,(stuff is really expensive) and u get at least a 40% discount*at least i did*

the Opry Mills Mall has tons of job openings right now. Just walk around there once you get to town and you will see. If you are really outgoing and dont mind the bar scene, most of the younger bars on 2nd street hire servers all the time (turnover is like mcdonalds...lol)
anyways, im about 2 hours north of nash but i go down there all the time.

if u really want to work in it, i say try it and see if u like it.

Since its only for 6 months, i would try some place that is fun/cool to work that you wouldn't normally allow yourself to do. Since the bar is not for you...( ), if you dig clothes, do the clothes thing. You dig cellphones, sell 'em. You dig dancing girls.....i'll leave that up to you

Here's what I have decided to do with my career, im either gonna do fashion retail or work for a music labeling company in Nashville. I said all good byes to the people I worked with and work for, some of the close friends took it hard and one of the girls i was a big brother to she went to the back of the work and kinda cried and teared.
