Re: do you drink
I'll drink whatever you put in front of me, but I don't do it very often. Last time I drank (two weeks ago or so), I had 4 long island iced teas, 2 shots of whiskey, and about half of my girlfriend's drink...but I'm not sure what that was. I just remember that her drink was pretty gross. I don't like wine or champagne much, and I'd never pay for it. But like I said, I'd drink it if it was in front of me...

Re: do you drink
I really don't drink much by myself, but when I do, I drink a bit of Corona... Hmm... while partying, I'll get a few mixed drinks, maybe a shot or three (lol)
But yeah, not much at all, If I get smashed, I'll be out having a good time with some friends, not home alone

Re: do you drink
I have posted before that i own my own company. All i do is set here answer the phone and dispatch all day. Mainly because my dayshift dispatcher quit awhile back and i dont want to have to pay anybody right now. Anyway my wife has been on vacation all week and been on my case about drinking so early in the day. So i told her it was because she was here (Not the best idea i have ever had) but anyway now she wants me to hire someone to dispatch so i can get back to calling on customers and such.

Re: do you drink
I don't see a problem with drinking early in the day unless it's become a daily routine and therefore leading to/becoming a problem. On the other hand, drinking while you're at work is always a bad idea.

Re: do you drink
Yeah i know but its been all week. Normaly im here buy myself the only people i see is a driver if one comes by and i'll have a drink around 4:00 but since shes been here all week its been the (Honey do list). I really cant say much because shes been here from the start and always stood behind every decision ive made. About two years ago i caught a bunch of stuff going on and fired everybody but one driver thats been with me from day one. She took a leave of absense from work and dispatched while i got in a truck we both worked 24hrs a day for six months. But your right it has been all week.
I guess its time to go shopping. wink wink

Re: do you drink
Ahhh, 4:00 isn't bad, Joe. When you said earlier in the day I though you were talking about 11:00 am. After work, I'll usually stop by the tavern or the lodge (members only) and have a couple of cocktails. Either beer, or sometimes mixed drinks. Now, that probably sounds bad to some because I talking about drinkin 3 or 4 times a week, but it's not excessive drinking. I mean I don't sit there and slam a half case of beer down my throat everyday. It's a casual atmosphere where I can talk to people and friends and see what's going on in the community.

Re: do you drink
Also, I'll chime in here and put up the health statistics. Men can drink 2 drinks a day (alcohol volume per drink of 1 beer, 1 glass of wine, or 1 oz of hard alcohol) with no adverse effects to their health, and women can drink 1 drink a day with no adverse effects to their healt.
So you can theoretically drink every single day, and it wouldn't do anything bad to your health.

Re: do you drink
Not that kind of function. She means walk and talk. Before we opened the company i was a mechanic for years and i would drink about a half a gallon a day. I did it for couple of years then doctor said i had to quit before i died.
