Re: Crocodila Hunter Steve Irwin, dead at 44.
He was crazy enough to mess with dangerous animals and eventually got eaten by the animals he was "documenting." Similar type of thing.

It's not very respectful to the deceased Steve Irwin to compare him to someone you refer to as a "douche".

It's true. They both died around the wildlife they were trying to document. The difference is that Steve Irwin was intelligent and took the necessary precautions with the animals he was dealing with. The Grizzly Man just wandered out into the middle of the woods with a bunch of bears and a video camera. He was a douche, but they died in similar ways. They're comparable.

Talk about irony - I was watching The Crocodile Hunter just a few hours before he's said to have died! It's a real shame. Irwin made me laugh with the way he handled dangerous animals treating them like they were just everyday objects. Unfortunately his wild side got the better of him... I'm sure he will be greatly missed.

Supposedly there was an incident involving 15 dead stingrays weeks proceeding Steve Irwin's death
