Hurray! My 100th Post! and $100 CPF up for grabs

I've been trying to come up with a great topic for my 100th post here on CPF but not having that much luck. SO, I have decided that I will just give away $100 CPF to someone who could use it (most likely a Newbie).

If you fit the bill just drop a line on this thread and let me know a bit about you. Such as how you got your username, how you found this forum, and what you hope to get out of it or what you hope to bring to the forum.

If you don't fit the bill and wanna just give me a big huge Attaboy then feel free.

I stumbled onto this forum because I was looking for a discussion on the technical aspects of the cell phone industry and at the same time looking for good advice on what provider/phone to go with since I was out of contract with Sprint. Kudos to the team that put together this forum, the moderators do a fantastic job at keeping the trash off the site and you can get excellent advice to any of your cell phone questions in a very short period of time. You can also have alot of fun.

So, Let me know why you want the loot by posting on this thread, I'll award the prize Wednesday night.

I haven't use the $CPF yet.

Since this is a good topic, I might as well reply to it.

I originally have CrazyKid as my name several years ago. Because I am little bit crazy and weird. I came up with that name since high school. After high school, I continue using that name for the next few years.

I got tired of the name so I came with MysteryKid or MystryKd. I used that for few years. I used that name because I am kind of secretive.

Now I am getting older and I don't think that name fits me anymore because I am not a kid anymore.

I was thinking of what new name I could come up with so I finally decided to get a name that is similar to Mystery Kid but a grown up name so I came up with SecrecyGuy. I used that name for the last few years now at several forums and other places.

But that name may not be true for me for very long now because soon, I am going to post a few videos of myself on YouTube. So stay tuned! Why? I always wanted to get into show business and I hope it will help me out.

Now let's get into how I got a name for AOLIM. I actually did use Secrecyguy for AOLIM at first but now I want to start fresh and get a new name for it. I also don't want people to know when I am online and I want to avoid few people. So I was thinking what new name can I come up with.

Well, I like XM Satellite Radio and I first got it when it came out to the stores. I probably was the first couple of hundred of people who first got it.

So it gave me an idea, so I came up with SatelliteRocks2. The reason there's a 2 is because someone got the other name.

When I got myself a "career job" beginning of this year, I decided to get myself a Sidekick 2. That was not my first choice. I was forced to get it because I missed by a month when T-mobile decided to raise their prices up.

When I got the phone, I decided to join a Sidekick forum. I learn several things about the phone when I was there. Than there's talk about other phones.

I found out that the Blackberry is a better choice to have. So I decided to join couple of other cell phone forums. This is one of them. I want to find out about other choices I have and how I can keep my $19.99 add on data plan.

I replace my Sidekick 2 with Blackberry 7290 and now I replace that with my Blackberry 8100 and I been happy ever since.

So I have CellPhoneForums.net and Howardforums.com to say thank you for giving me the information I need to get the phone I want. Oh... I also belong to Blackberryforums.com to say thank you to because they help me to get the most out of my phone.

Well said secrecyguy. I'll consider you for the prize tomorrow night, hopefully we can get a few more people to post here as well. Being that we just had the Thanksgiving holiday, it was nice to see your last paragraph on what CellPhoneForums.net has meant to you. Sattelite radio does rock, but I use Sirius instead of XM. Not that it matters, they are both excellent services. Let us know when you post your videos on YouTube. I'm sure the readers of this thread would love to see them!

wow i remember reaching 100 posts ages ago, the first 100 was always the hardest achievement lol the rest just seems to flow by
