Cell Phone Contests

We want to hear your thoughts on what you would want for new contests and/or games. For example, cell phone trivia, video contests, or 'I spotted CPF.

What would you want the prizes to be? iPhone, bluetooth headset, memory cards?

I say the prizes shouldn't be iPhone's or cell phones, as that would be highly unreasonable and would be extremely expensive. I would say monthly prizes such as accessories that everyone could use, so not like cases that would only fit one model etc, but probably like memory cards (microSD and M2 cards), headphones (as most SE's use the same plug). Money is a great choice.

As for the contests, I would go for stuff such as a lottery?, draw, and have them monthy, as weekly would be too expensive.

Just came up with a pretty good idea. Get a close up shot of a phone and have members get them. Show a picture of a pretty old model and see if members can identify them.

Also, the prizes could be not cell phone related, such as MP3 players, a webcam, mouse etc. Just gadget or electronic related IMO should do.

How about a message decipher using numbers to text posted through out threads? Such as 44 46 639 86 273 would be "hi im new to CPF". Might bring up reply count in threads. lol Headsets or memory cards are good choices for prizes. Or gift cards to onlines sellers like think geek, tiger direct, etc. Thanks
