I'll agree on the health care system 100%. We Canadians might pay more income tax than our American counterparts, but we don't pay a dime for healthcare insurance.

As for the results on video game violence, it's important to note that while there are many studies showing that video games increase violent tendencies, there are just as many showing that they do not. At this point, it is not possible to say whether they cause a person to do something. That's another thing I wish people would take responsibility for: their own actions. Maybe it's time for those blaming their actions on video games, movies, and music to take a look at themselves and realize that they chose to take these actions.
I agree. Why in the @%#%^*@^ would she get rid of MATURE games?? Its the #%^&* parents that dont see what their spoiled kids are asking for christmas, and the dumbass still buy it for them.

Nonetheless the things people see, listen to and play have a big influence on the way they see the world. This is not only a "kids problem". Blocking games is controversial but there is at least some merit to it.

Same could be said for violent movies, tv shows, news reports...eventually you would be left with nothing but a bland, gray reality that politics has molded for you. Freedom means having to take some responsibility, parents have to educate their kids and set boundaries, not expect government to do it for them!

That's true. Controling media/entertainment content is a difficult and a dangerous thing to do. My point was that violent game control shouldn't simply be discarded as an idea without any merits.

True..True. But sometimes tv shows go too far. I was watching tv the other day with my family (basic cable,NO hbo, cinemax, playboy). We had nothing to watch so we were just changing channels, all of the sudden some guy is doggy style bonning a chick, you couldnt see the chick at all but you can hear her screaming..and no there were no private parts showing..Thank God. These tv shows should get banned or something.
If I wanted to see porn, i'd rent it or buy it, but its a family basic cable. WTF?? this CRAP is spreding everywhere.
