Anyone seen this movie yet? Looks pretty cool
Cloverfield
I want to try to see it maybe this weekend.
A guy from another forum posted a picture of the monster that he took using his phone's camera. I was thinking of doing the same.
Any chance anyone else here has or plans to do this?

Re: Anyone see Cloverfield yet?
One review that I read said that whole movie was filmed from a camcorder (like blair witch) and can get very annoying. I'll just wait till it comes on dvd

Re: Anyone see Cloverfield yet?
I hope its not like Open Water (2004). The previews were saying "Best Shark film since JAWS" and you hear the screeming and kicking, blood everywere. But I think it was a sh*ty movie. It was filmed with a camcorder too.
I'm afraid of watching Cloverfield in theaters, because If I go and its something stupid..i'll never forgive myself.

I know what i'll do. I'll pay for another movie, watch it, and then sneek in Cloverfield, that way if its something stupid attacking the city, I wont feel like I was ripped off again.

Re: Anyone see Cloverfield yet?
This movie was awesome. Whatever you think the monster is, disregard that thought, because this is something else. Someone posted that if you get motion/car sickness that you should not watch this movie and they were correct. It does get a bit crazy, but the story line and the action are great. Definitely recommend seeing this in theatres rather than on dvd.

Re: Anyone see Cloverfield yet?
Cloverfield kick ass big time. Thanks Xfactor, I took your advice, its worth watching it on the big screen. They were saying on the news that if you easily get car sick, this movie isnt for you, They do mean that. My girl ended up with a headache, I only got dizzy.

Re: Anyone see Cloverfield yet?
I will just wait for it to hit DVD, and then rent it. A lot cheaper that way. ALos if it sucks I am only out a buck.

Re: Anyone see Cloverfield yet?
The movie was good because it was very fast pace. The problem about this movie is after it I got a very big head ache because there were a lot of camera shake.
