My company sells a product that relies on a Verizon cellular data connection to the Internet. The problem is, the network works in some areas but not others, so the salesperson selling our product is never sure to whether sell the Verizon option or a local network one. It would be great if we could give our salespeople some type of detector or meter that could detect the presence of the Verizon network so they’d know in advance which option to sell.
Does anyone know if there is such a thing?

I'll move this thread to the general forums for better exposure.

Uh, yeah, a cell Verizon cell phone would obviously work. But as I mentioned, we have a sales force we need to outfit with whatever we come up with, and I'd much rather be able to buy a one-time meter or detector for them rather than a bunch of cell phones with ongoing monthly charges.
