I want to make a backup copy of the Kung Fu Panda DVD movie.

This movie is really AWESOME! And the Kung Fu Panda, Po, is so cute, funny and lovely. Since i got it back from Amazon.com in June, my husband and i and my three little kids have enjoyed it many times. Yesterday, we were just sitting together to watch it during our meal and all of sudden it started to stutter and skip. When i ejected the DVD, i found that it has some good-sized scratches on the surface, so i hope to backup this classic DVD movie before it is badly scratched. However, i can neither copy it to my computer hard drive nor burn it to a blank DVD-R disc.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
