My boss and I need to get rid of a set of old nokias that used to be company phones. Anyways, trying to sell them as a set on Craigslist & Ebay was too much a disaster (The people are freaks!!!) so we decided to sell to a used cell phone broker. And I was wondering if anyone knew a used cell phone broker that caters to businesses.

Re: Best Cell Phone Trade Site
Sometimes if you go back to the site where you go the phones from, they have the option to buy back old phones.
For example sprint has this option, and if you log into your account, you can click on a button on the account page to have sprint "buy back" your phone.
Then you click on the type of phone you are trying to sell back, and it will tell you how much they will give you for it.
Come to think of it, Best Buy does this too for electronics, so maybe Best Buy's Buy Back (say that 5 times fast) will take cell phones too!

you might want to try this site if you don't want a middleman:

Re: Best Cell Phone Trade Site
Isn't CellPex strictly geared towards cell dealers? And aren't there usually a fee associated with them?

Re: Best Cell Phone Trade Site
I sent my good working ones to Full Circle Wireless since it was local.
Full Circle Wireless
Received $81 a few months ago for a bunch of 8700c's we stopped supporting and the IT staff went out go-karting using it.
For devices that are damaged beyond repair I usually send to T-Mobile's recycling place, they provided free bags to recycle old equipment with all their upgrades. The used broker we used before also had a problem but we felt that we wanted to do it directly with the manufacturer.

Re: Best Cell Phone Trade Site
Well, I went with Full Circle in the end. Since, they offered free shipping and handling. I managed to get $100 for the phones and the boss took us out to drink at TGI Fridays.
Next up on our list of crap we need to get rid of is the box of Blackberry 8100's.
Full Circle Wireless has it as $23 for each. Anyone know a site that gives more? Remember Ebay and Craigslist are a no-nos. Since they require spending more time or paying shipping and handling.

Re: Best Cell Phone Trade Site
You could get more selling it individually, provided that your boss lets you take time off your normal duties and try to sell those phones. Aside from that, just stick with your current cell phone broker since long term customers tend to get some perks

Soi would like to know if you could sell me one at the prices you are selling to the broker. Please let me know thank you

Re: Best Cell Phone Trade Site
Honestly, you can't get a lot for those phones via buyback. Buybacks usually pay less than $10 for those. And they change price listings every month.

See how they change there's a time stamp on the bottom?
Anyways, those phones are really just too common and there's more supply there is demand. However, selling on Craigslist and Ebay could give you more definitely but the issue is whether or not if you could even sell them. I mean my grandma even has one.
I sold mine just for the purpose of just getting rid of them. Fortunately, it's easy to sell your more high end phones individually.
Bottom line:
Old and busted: Buyback (ex: FullCircleWireless, etc.)
New & kickass: Ebay & Craigslist
