should i let the girl know i love her

i fall in love a girl, she is my friend. And she is very beatiful. many boys are after her, thinking her is becautiful. i do not know if she has a boy friend or not, i guess she do not have . Because she is a tranditional girl, she does not like to be with any a boy . she is careful about her feelings. I sent her a beacutiful purse and Dove chocolate last christmas, she accepted it. But i do not know if she love me. I do not have the confidence to ask her. so it makes me mad and confused. I love .. i need confidence .. !! should i let the girl know i love her ? need someone give me some confidence!! thanks !!
