It's all about priorities, my friend. Like you, I've taken to pay some charges, because it's just not worth arguing them (like a doc who overcharged us $21... it's not worth hours of phone-calls or letters, when I can contract for $60-$80/hr on my day-job). But man, for a G-note, I would have raised hell for them. Keep up the steam and let others know.
