AT&T is a joke

I hate at&t they charge me for roaming when im just in my room. Everytime i go to my room my phone roams to cingular and they have the nerve to charge me. It's a joke. I hate at&t i hope they enjoy ripping people off.

Perhaps - but you will probably still be stuck with billing problems. Totally lame "customer care", dishonest sales staff. Why bother? There are plenty of other operators out there.

Yes. Cingular purchased AT&T Wireless back in February and they will be making AT&T Wireless into Cingular. They will officially merge networks VERY SOON. I remember talking to a Cingular rep back in May and he said that they are probably going to completely merge networks in the summer sometime around July or August. Remember how AT&T just recently said they've "doubled their coverage"? Its because of this merger...

nope they made an agreement like 5 months ago but they decided to buy it out instead

im just glad that i dont have to put up with at&t's minimal coverage anymore

I really can't wait until the two companies merge together, b/c then I will get the best coverage yet from att. Right now my coverage suks.

I wish this merger would not happen. AT&T is the 4th provider ive been with, and its so far been the best, and that makes Cingular the worst. I guess i will have to break my contract with AT&T because Cingular sucks!!!!

I guess it just depends on the area you live in. For me, AT&T and Cingular are both average cell phone companies with average service, but hopefully when they combine (if they aren't already?) I'll get even better coverage.

Its amazing how people flame att wireless (and yes it has big problems i know myself), and then they get a Tmobile phone with the same reception...and say oh...yeah....its the phone now...

Just go on a nation wide plan and no more roaming charges! Not rocket science!!!

Oh, to answer your next lame statement: The extra free mins are doing you no good if you are roaming!

i have ATT but i hate that they dont have real music ringtones arggg , because my friend has them and there really cool. AT&T costumer service is fine for me?hmm
